KIPPURE ESTATE
Kippure Estate is magnificently set in a
wild and wonderful valley in the heart of the West Wicklow
Mountains… a paradise for nature lovers, rich in history,
proud of its magical scenery. Because Wicklow West is still
relatively undiscovered and thinly populated, the region is
a fantastic destination for those who love the outdoors, as
it is free of crowds and pollution.
The estate’s extensive private grounds are ideal for
rambling and exploring, picnics, barbecues or just reading
your book in the sunshine - 240 acres (1.6 sq km) of mature
woodland and ancient meadows full of magic discoveries… The
perfect family holiday destination!
The fledging River Liffey forms the southern boundary of the
estate – walking along the bank on a summer’s evening is
spectacular. The Wicklow Mountains National Park stretches
to the horizon, almost surrounding the estate. Just a few
minutes walk from your accommodation there is easy access
onto open mountain country via a bridge across the River
Liffey.
Seefin Holiday Homes
- There are 8 Seefin houses in two
different sizes; six 4 bedroom and two 2 bedroom: 4
bedroom house sleeps up to 7 with 1 double, 1 twin
ensuite, 1 twin, 1 single. One separate bathroom with
bathtub. 2 bedroom house sleeps up to 4 people with 1
double room ensuite, 1 twin room. One separate bathroom
with bathtub.
- Wooden floors throughout, TV, gas
central heating and a cosy wood burning stove in the
living room.
- Spacious open-plan kitchen, sitting
room and dining area located upstairs. Conservatory
style bay windows, capturing splendid views of
rugged mountain country.
- Fully fitted kitchen, which
features an oven/hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge
and all the necessary kitchen utensils and crockery.
- There is an iron and ironing board
in the houses and there is a communal laundry room
with washing machine and tumble dryer onsite.
- No hidden costs: bed linen, towels,
electricity, heating and firewood are all included
in the price.
Athdown Holiday Homes
- Built within the Victorian
walled garden of the estate; these superb holiday
homes enjoy a peaceful and unique setting,
overlooking landscaped gardens and some of County
Wicklow’s highest mountains.
- There are eight Athdown houses with
three bedrooms each. All houses sleep up to 8 people
with 1 family room (double bed plus single bed), 1
triple room, and 1 twin.
- All bedrooms are ensuite. The
houses are contemporarily furnished and have their
own private patio with wooden decking. All bedrooms
are ensuite and carpeted throughout. Separate
downstairs toilet with wheelchair access.
- Spacious open-plan dining and
sitting room with wooden floors and doors opening to
the patio area. Floor to ceiling windows in the
living room, offering unrestricted mountain views.
- Fully fitted kitchen with modern
appliances, including dishwasher, washing machine,
combination fridge freezer, microwave, oven and hob.
- TV and gas central heating.
Combination boiler for instant hot water.

Kippure Estate in its easy-to-reach,
peaceful and inspirational location is the perfect Ireland
conference venue for workshops, seminars and business
meetings. We offer exceptional customer service, competitive
pricing, and a single point of contact for your event
handling needs.
Our range of meeting rooms offer flexibility in layout and
function. Attractively designed, they feature wooden
flooring, contemporary furnishing and natural light. The
largest of the three rooms (Cransillagh Room) is suitable
for a wide range of events, including corporate hospitality,
conferences, lectures, presentations, private functions and
smaller weddings. The Belfry Room & House is a peaceful
haven in a self-contained unit, whilst the Beechwood Room is
a pleasant light room – suitable for board meetings and
workshops.
Food: Our chef can design a menu to suit
every taste and every budget, from delicious low-cost meals
and lunches to exquisite dinners, buffets for special
occasions and rustic barbecues. Prices start from €15 per
person for a two course meal.
We can cater for 60 in our dining area and additional 120
people in our Cransillagh room. The erection of a marquee
for larger numbers is also an option.
The Kippure Bar: The fully licensed bar at
Kippure Estate can be open ON REQUEST for pre-booked groups
of at least 10 people.
Accommodation: Kippure Estate can provide
good value single, twin, double and triple rooms for groups
of up to 130 delegates.
