The architect owners, Philip and Delphine Geoghegan of
iCON Architecture and Urban Design, provide
self-catering tourism that offers something special,
sustainable and totally luxurious. The beautiful
simplicity of the building itself shines through. The
result is double height living room, light airy, flowing
spaces, whitewashed walls, porcelain floors and walk-in
elegant en-suite wetrooms. Stone walls, ancient cross
beams, and the byres of the cows once milked there,
remain in the chic, authentic, interior, within which
sumptuous sofas offer comfort and relaxation in front of
the glass-fronted log stove. Guilt free luxury includes
underfloor geo-thermal heating, solar panels,
south-facing rooflights, eco-friendly products and
A-rated appliances in the stylish kitchen.
The house opens from all living areas onto its own
mature, totally private, south-facing garden with
