MOUNTAIN VENTURES
Recently renovated and reopened in
May 09 Mountain Ventures Lodge is ideally located at the
foot of Lugnaquilla in this hillwalkers paradise. The
lodge is run by a Mountaineering instructor who is
always on hand to give advise should you need it.
Here you will find a much quieter part of the Garden
County where comfy lodging’s and hearty welcome await
you after a day on the hills. A great base to discover
the beautiful Glendalough (35 min’s), Russborough House,
The Blessington Lakes and Micheal Dwyers Cottage.
The lodge can sleep up to 30 guests in 3 room types all
ensutie. Facilities include meeting room, wi fi , drying
room and self catering kitchen.
Mountain Ventures also offer mountaineering training
using only qualified instructors and a syllabus approved
by the Irish Mountain Training Board.

the coming Autumn.
School groups find this an ideal location especially for
transition year student doing their Gaisce Award.

achieve the adventure part of your award.
